Tended by Raphaël since 2019 in Taiwan, Japan, and Malaysia, Le cerf-volant (French for ‘kite’) is an itinerant initiative born to serve as a safe, selfless, introspective, and educational space dedicated to the languages of tea and their eclectic nature. It is an open, inclusive, and dynamic bridge, humbly inviting all individuals to delve into crafted stillscapes, while reconnecting and honoring the inherent shining nature of their sacred Self.

Nourished by the contemplation and exploration of the way of tea through related arts, aesthetics, sensoriality, and photography, this wandering refuge aims to shape and cultivate a deeper understanding, respect, and appreciation for the rich essence, teachings, and traditions that color the practice of tea, crystallized through the crafting of public and private experiences.
